Other then Crutchfield

Who sells good car audio and adapters?

Crutchfield won't ship outside of the USA, nor will they ship to a 'pick-up point'. Crazy.

I used to use " Labelle Camera and Stereo of Maine". about 20 years ago, they had good prices, and lots of variety, not sure they are still going though.

Try the automobile manufacturer, or the company making the electronic gear that you want to use.

Can you find the parts on Amazon?

No, but that's where I will end up. Buying a bunch of pieces and hoping it all fits and works.

Crutchfield has good prices, great 'all in one packages' and a well organized website.

Disappointing they won't ship a legitimate business address with a confirmed pre-payment by credit card.

Use my address and I'll forward to you.

Thanks for the offer, but someone is impatient.

We ordered from Amazon today. I will pick it up in Port Huron next week. Then the soldering begins...

No worries. Should the soldering not go well, offer stands.

It is interesting how thoroughly CF has infiltrated this niche.

And I now I notice I said 'other then' in my Subject.

Fail all around here.

If the soldering does not go well she will drive away in her car (with no sound) and not return. ;)

Maybe they changed things there.
A couple of years ago I ordered something from Crutchfield's U.S. site. At first they said no. I wound up dealing with their international order dept. They did ship my order to my U.S. mail box.
I did use my Visa with an alternate shipping address to my U.S. mail box.

They need a US Credit card or a US shipping address with a name and a land line.

I talked to them on the phone, no flexibility. They wouldn't even ship to the US office where I work every week or two.

I guess they want people to use the Canadian website.

Brian 162 12-01-2016 06:06 PM

Yeah that's what they said to me. I remember the Canadian website had less than half the product that the U.S. site.
There's a place in downtown Toronto that may have what you need.
