I would watch videos by these guys (hadn't seen any before). They seemed down to earth and reasonable. The video of them driving was pretty boring. This certainly wasn't Randy Pobst and Jason Cammisa with the financial backing of Motor Trend or Tire Rack, but it wasn't bad.

how about Mustang vs M5

Porsche 911 vs M4 vs Mustang - en Español

M4 vs Mustang - auf Deutsch

M3 vs Mustang

Please do post more about all your overseas adventures. Nothing boring about those...

OR...take them to a travel forum?

My travel threads have an intellectual component to them.

Incessant Mustang postings with the intent of poking the hornet's nest are not only not intelligent, they are childish and boorish.

It's harmless. Repetitive, but harmless.

The only interesting part to me was that he paid $48k for a used BMW.

On Mustang forums, he trashes Mustangs and praises Porsches, apparently. Very strange behavior.

Im not sure what y'all are into but the two preferred ways to Razz a mustang enthusiast these days are

1. Coffee and cars
2. remind them that a 1LE v-6 camaro is faster around a track than a mustang GT

Disclaimer: I really like Mustangs AND M3s

Wait, what? I'll have to look that up. I hadn't heard. That should be a fun read.

Not strange at all...I believe all cars have their bad points, and I don't mind pointing those out. My main regret over buying a new 2009 Bullitt Mustang is that it doesn't "turn my crank" like the old '72 911S did back in the day. The main 911S bad point for me was that it had the misfortune of becoming a sought after collectable car. Mustangs are made with compromises in performance areas. Ford does this purposely in order to attract a wider audience. Mine has been a dead reliable transportation device for me but I don't wish to go the modifications route because I just don't like the car enough to want to toss good money after bad.

Porsches have become fast but overweight and overpriced luxury status machines. Buy a new 911 and lose more in depreciation than I paid for my new Mustang the moment you drive it off the lot.

The thing I liked about the video I posted was in one of the closing comments...one that suggested doing some real comparing of USA vs. Europe before plunking your money down.

It's sad, but the car guy within me is about to leave. I subscribe to 3 or 4 of the car mags, and they all read about the same...all do their best to sell cars for the advertising space the hope the car makers buy. Reading the tests and the track comparisons are great stuff...until I realize that I no longer do track days or autocross, and that I drive on real roads with real traffic. Driving just isn't fun these days...no matter what logo is on the steering wheel.

I doubt that any car being offered today would make me any happier or sadder than I am with the Mustang I drive to my favorite pool hall.

So, I look for pleasure in places other than cars. I am a terrible pool player. No pro wants to play anybody with my low skill level. Ahhh, but every time I pull my Keith Josey cue out of my case I smile...every time I see a cue ball actually come to a stop where I hoped it would, I smile. I enjoy my baby steps of improvement in the game...

Full disclosure, the 1LE package is pretty *****'n

Lightning Lap 2016: Results, Historical Lap Times, and More – Feature – Car and Driver

1LE v8 Camaro is almost as fast as the gt350 and the last gen z28 is even faster than the gt350R

The new Camaro is a great car but I still much prefer the mustang looks

In addition to prodding Porsche owners with your little stick, are your Mustang postings another vehicle for you to go off on pool hall tangents? Do you manage to inject your favorite pool hall into your postings on Mustang forums, as well?

I really don't care to hear your answer, but I am bored at the moment.
