What the heck is that good for?
It only shows how many seconds the light still will be red.

This is one of the most unnessecary things among IoT!

I wouldn't want an integrated system like that, however, a stand-a-lone device would be interesting.

Having a basic @ speed limit will you make it to the next light yes/no is really the most important thing, the problem, is there is liability to do such a thing from the stand point it might encourage high speed runs into lights that are going to be turning red.

For some reason, it just seems whoever tends to stop at the front of a light in a busy stacked intersection, has about a 4 second reaction time at best, mostly 5 to 6. This means that just a few cars make it through, when there is a huge column stacked up.

I've seen the auto braking feature keep a Mercedes from rear ending me when I came to a stop for right turn on red.(I think they were used to cars blowing through it if traffic was empty.) Driver was not paying attention, yet their car hit the brakes hard for them. I was about to roll through the red light(it was clear.), but the auto-stop detected my car and kicked in.

You should always be watching the cross traffic first and fore most. I watch the lights for timing to get it as close as I can, but once I see the cross traffic light go red(its normally three seconds from red to my green.), I'm scanning both ways rapidly to ensure the intersection will be clear.
