Just load an alternate firmware.
dd-wrt, Tomato, Merlin. They'll typically improve performance, tune-ability, unlock additional features. |
As noted on the first line of the website noted in the link ""By convincing a user to visit a specially crafted web site, a remote attacker may execute arbitrary commands with............" this is the big issue. DO NOT VISIT STRANGE WEBSITES!
At the last company I worked at before retiring, some of the very experienced SQL/Oracle programmers would click on links for "free programming tools" or other stuff and bang their computer was junk! |
