Your office view...

Some people have just 4 walls to stare at. Some have mountains, oceans...

What's your office view look like?

cube walls. but during the term with the students on campus, there is a LOT of really nice scenery walking around....

There is not one window in our building. I can go look out the door into a parking lot of cars and other industrial buildings.

We do have one ugly Elm tree behind the building if I walk back there and a grass field next door.

sammyg2 12-15-2016 09:02 AM

Note to self, get the janitors to clean the windows next week.

Hay, no one said this biddness was glamorous.

Porsche-O-Phile 12-15-2016 11:42 AM

Did you stand on your head to take that?

sammyg2 12-15-2016 12:02 PM

That was taken from about 5000 feet up, I'm guessing he was pulling negative 2 G's in an outside loop.....

seafeye 12-15-2016 01:12 PM

It's right side up on my phone.

myamoto1 12-15-2016 01:42 PM

2 days a week, I get this view...

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1481838101.jpg

The other days are in a cube farm.

Literally out my office window at this exact moment (the top of a non-descript ridge in East TN):

And figuratively (looking through a hot cell window with really nasty things on the other side):

This was mine up until a year ago. Bryant Park NYC, 42nd and 6th, Chrysler Building. We moved offices and my view was downgraded.

That's a fantastic view, hard to work with a view like that keeping you company!

BlueSkyJaunte 12-18-2016 12:31 AM

The view from my office is NSFW.

Tom, that is the CutRateAir's 747.
If you would like a flight on an airplane with engines, there will be a slight up-charge.

Actually that looks like NASA's 747 shuttle transporter. (the tail and I think i almost see the superstructure on the top of the airplane)

Correct. We took it apart and drove it down the road a few years ago to put it in NASA's museum.

Another pic of the shuttle mounting superstructure:

This. We're not allowed to have windows where I work. If I walk outside, it's the desert, so no real scenery there, either :(

rusnak 12-28-2016 10:10 AM

Wow. So when people go poo, they flush it into the river? I don't know how that thought comes into my mind, but it just looks like a lot of people crammed into a smallish space.

Part of the year I have to look at this while talking to great folks.
