Pretty cool, whats the date on that? Gotta love the size the camera.

One day, I decided to make three new characters in an online game called Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and Michael Collins.

Had to quit playing the first two after a few weeks. Constant constant spam of "You didn't go to the moon", just typically accompanied with profanity and accusations of lies. Michael Collins, well, I guess he's not remembered.

It amazed me the sheer volume of four letter profanity that was directed at those names like that. It amazes me how Neil Armstrong went down in history for being so calm to people.

I fully, fully, understand Buzz Aldrin punching a guy getting in his face after that experience.

That's true...but most don't use the one between their ears like they did back then...

True story, my Dad was a professor of Nuclear Engineering at MIT in the 50s and 60s, he was heavily involved in US/USSR relations and he had a bunch of BBQs at our house in Newton, MA when I was a little kid. This was to foster USSR relations. I was born in 1954 and at ten or so years old, I actually met a number of USSR delegates including Yuri Gagarin, who, when I was 10 years old, I really didn't grasp, the significance of.

I know I have mentioned it before, but there is no doubt in my mind your father taught mine at MIT. After Korea and a tour in Japan, the Army sent my father to MIT, where earned an MS in Nuclear Physics and and an MS in Civil Engineering.

Small world.

He is a retired Major General. From what I read on Wiki, it's the highest position you can hold without being tied to a specific task. Somebody was thinking of him.
