Which stereo unit does the car have?
I wonder if this is pulling music digitally over the iPod specific data connection or if it is pulling just analog audio - those older iPod connectors can do both, depending on how they are wired. If it is wired simply as an 'aux' input on the stereo (i.e. the stereo just plays music but cannot skip tracks or display names) then you can get a cheap 3.5mm ti female iPod connector adapter to play any music into this from anything with a headphone jack. But if it has actual digital iPod integration, it is looking for an old iPod to connect to. |
