LOL! My cell phone is a cheap TRAC phone...$100 per year buys more minutes than we use. Wouldn't have bought it except there are no pay phones these days. It's off when I drive.

But I'm not a total technophobe..I plug an IPOD set to shuffle play into the Mustang line in jack before I head out.

I don't get it, what's the value in it?

I do with a semiprofessional acct. The value is I follow several journals and work related organizations and so I get steady reminders about new research. Also I've got some side interests and follow related authors and magazines and can pick and choose things to read from the headlines they tweet out. Its easier than going to multiple websites and looking for myself.

I don't tweet but do quite a bit of facebook. Facebook has been great for tracking old friends. I have no idea what twitter is about.

I canceled my Twitter account after ONE day.......Had a friend driving home to Oakland from Reno......He tweets each overlook and fart along the way.......I've never looked back...

I have facebook. I did it for the networking for old work colleagues. The best way to get a new job is by referral. Mostly what I do is occasionally post a job opening that I've heard abuot out to the group of old colleagues or to wish someone a happy birthday. I also have some family there. For that it's nice, because otherwise, I may never talk to or see them. This way, I can stay in touch.

I also have a LinkedIn account, although I'm not sure how worthwhile it is. I figure it's another way to network with colleagues.

Twitter? No, I've never had an account or a desire to have one.

I will never tweet, and wish I never started up a facebook account . I spend very little time there now. I do use it for business quite a bit, but other than that, it has become a cess pool to me .
Over the last 2 years, I have noticed that the less time I spend on a keyboard, the happier I am in general . I like to be Fred in real life much better .
You guys are still cool as the other side of the pillow though.

My only tweet is a rectal gas thing.

I use it to contact Delta during IRROPS events.

I retweeted some bad sushi all over the toilet once!
