vibration sensor build?
 

Looking for some type of sensor that can pickup movement in a certain direction which I can trigger a strobe light and see the heavy side causing the vibration. Much like the old spin balancers we used on autos but that sensor would rest on the floor with an arm that would set against the control arm and trip the light. I need a sensor that can attach to a machine directly.
