I thought I could just Google or Amazon to find

I thought I could easily find just one replacement LED. But one did not jump off the page after easy search.

One of the LEDs failed on my truck's license plate light. I know that I could just buy a new set, but what fun would that be?

So, might anyone know of a source where I could get one or a few, 7.5mm 12volt white LED with pigtails?

You sure its 7.5 and not a 8mm? 8mm are very common. 10 cents a piece.

You guys are geniuses! Ebay! There were a few stressful moments, but I won the auction bid at $1.35 for a complete new set. Now I just wait and wait till someday delivery.

I buy small items from China on eBay all the time. I'm amazed that the shipping is free for things that cost a few dollars or less. Apparently the government subsidizes the cost?
Prepare to wait 3-6 weeks for your item though.

China Ebay stuff consistently takes about 2 weeks, in my experience.
