No internal ladder?
No training on how to evac - by park or FD peeps? Did the park really wait 3 hours to call for FD rescue? Why did Knotts tell the FD to stop talking about it? And most importantly, did anyone have to "go" during the SEVEN HOUR WAIT?

I spoke to one of the ride operators who works at our pumpkin patch, running our fair rides about this. He said a similar incident happened in Florida on the "Drop Zone". It was a hydraulic problem. When fluid pressure is too low, the brake system scrams and shuts the valves, locking the platform in position. It took them until the next day to figure out what went wrong. Similarly, ride occupants were stranded over 100 feet in the air, beyond the reach of the fire truck ladder.
