Just came across this upcoming option.

At $50 for the 32gb version might be worth a flyer.

May have to get one for the spousal unit.

There have been wireless storage options for years. I use something similar called an Airstash, which came out in 2010: AirStash® · Wireless Storage

What I like about the original and 2nd gen is they used SD cards, so you weren't limited to the capacity of the flash drive it came with originally.

SD card option is nice but the Airstash product requires switching to its network while the new offering supposedly does not meaning a more seamless user experience.

Nah, Airstash issued an update that fixed that when the 2nd generation model came out.
