Maybe not the last, but close.

If you know what you want and you don't want much it's great! The artist will (most likely) get paid more, so that's very kind of you as well.

Is that due to the rise of Spotify etc? And if so, does Spotify not have to pay royalties?

FWIW I too still buy CD's and vinyl.

But it is so effortless to Shazam a tune I'm hearing, learn the name and artist, and have a link right to the iTunes store. I buy a LOT that way.
