supercross 2017

And BAM!.

With Roczen out, Dungey will grind out another Championship.

SHEEESH, that was a tough "landing"!

Moto-cross is not as enjoyable since the 2-t's left. I'll wager Dungy will pull off some more wins.:cool:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1485193815.jpg2-t's are gone, except for some small companys, maybe some day.......:D

Watched the race on the DVR last night. Loving it! Rooting for my hometown boy!

When I raced years ago, 13 year old Dungey would whoop on us while riding his 80 at the county fair grounds.

Poor kid. You hate to see any of them go down like that.

It was nasty. In hindsight I bet he wishes he had tried to ride it out rather than punching out. He was riding at limit prior to that crash on a deteriorating technical track. I alway like watching guys ride at the limit, but those who do it often usually end up on the ground. Travis Pastrana and Bubba come to mind.

I was thinking the same thing. The bike will absorb a ridiculous amount of the punishment if you let it (see Doug Henry) but I can;t say for certain he had much say in the matter here...he got seat-bumped pretty bad.

Pastrana in his first couple of years was beyond entertaining to watch race, dude had no in-between.
