Anyone into Rugby?

I don't know if anyone follows Rugby, but this sport is becoming more and more popular in U.S.A.

Somehow my oldest Son began to play at the age of 12 now he is 20, two years ago his club made it to the finals for high school and they loss by one point. Fast forward to last year and he was a starter as a freshman for the FSU Rugby Team ( Florida State University) Last year they only won one game.

One week ago, I witnessed the end-results of all those years of hard work. FSU Rugby Team became the State and Conference Champions now are on their way to play for Regional Champions and eventually if they made it to National Champions.

Any Rugby Fans out here?

I played in College a bit- club level when I was there. Finally became recognized and a few years ago we won nationals for Division 3 schools! I went to Salve Regina University in Newport RI as an undergrad. No small feat for a school with only a few hundred guys! Fun sport and yes it can get rough but I got hurt worse playing soccer and basketball then playing ruggers.

I played Union Rugby many years at club level here in jersey. I loved telling people I was a hooker.
