Volvo 850 Turbo
I know several folks on the board own lots of different Volvos, but does anyone have input regarding a 1995 850 Turbo?
I just picked this one up and I love it..... so far.

My wife loves those cars. We had a 240 for a few years, good car bad AC. How does that one drive? Looks nice. Sorry to hear you are getting rid of your 911. I liked it when I saw it on the fun run to Sedona and Jerome.

Ya...
Nice car, responds well to basic preformance upgrades like open filter, exhaust and chip. (easy 270hp) Early manual transmissions were crap. Understeers a lot.

Thanks Jeff. The 850 drives great. We weren't in the market for a Volvo and kind of stumbled upon it. I've got to say I'm REALLY surprised at how quick it is. Braking is impressive. Overall we're very happy. Email me at my Cox address and I'll let you know more.
Goran, I have those things in mind but I'm in no hurry. Besides, it's the wifes car and she sort of drags her right foot a bit. She probably could do without the extra 50 hp, if you know what I mean.

My friends S70 turbo. Chipped, dropped on H&Rs with Bilstein shocks and a system that includes two Alpine R10s and an Alpine V12 amp all controlled by a Nakamichi head unit.

That's a good lookin' ride. And thump to boot! The tunes in ours is factory but sound pretty good. A friend of mine is something of an Audiophile and when I showed him the car and turned on the stereo, he said "Hey! Is there a sub in this thing?" Nope, but does have the premium sound option with a 6 CD changer in the trunk. I need to check and see who the manufacturer is.

Should be infinity, my mom has a V90 and the system in that BUMPS for a stock setup.
