Calling The SB 2017
As much as I want Atlanta, I think it is going to be the Patriots. Why it seems that is what would make the universe right. I hope I am wrong, and I could very well be. So other than having some faith in my instincts I would have kept my mouth shut. Well shall see now wont we?

I'm a contrarian, so I'm going to take the contrary view. I think the early part of the game is going to be a defensive standoff before the Falcons jump out to an insurmountable lead. Brady looks mortal before mounting an immortal style comeback attempt.

Looking like Tabby may be wrong. Don't think he'll mind this time though.

Guess you'll just have to stick to calling the collapse of the global economy, Ted.

You have the gift for prognostication, my friend. |
That was crazy! Don't think I've ever watched a football contest all the way to the end before. Congrats tabs.

Thank you Tabs!

Herr Tabdulah proves once again why he is the Oracle of the board.

On Thursday I went to dinner with a friend who asked who as going to win the SB. I thought a moment and answered, "I want Atlanta but the Patriots are going to win." I thought the Patriots would come from behind pulling off a squeaker at the end...winning with a FG.
My thought process was who am I going to say won the game after it was played? The only answer that felt right was the Patriots. It was like the certainity of saying the sun comes up in the east and sets in the west. That was the feeling about the coin toss and almost Atlanta fumble on the first series...as the players were lining up I was saying fumble fumble fumble. Then I thought NE would score FG, it just took them the rest of the half to do it. |
I was in a zone of saying this is what is going to happen and it did. Like a window in time opened where everything just seemed obvious. Then the doubt of second guessing yourself comes in and you think well is it going to turn out that way?
