spoon deal

10/22 stainless Target model (factory heavy barrel). Down side is pink stock, but spray paint is cheap, or you can get one from Boyds, etc. Normal retail on a 10/22 T is around 425....

Ruger Ruger 11195 10/22TPH 22LR Target 10 Rounds Stainless Steel/Pink

Or somebody who wants SST Ruger action/barrel and intends to refit an aftermarket stock anyway...

Neither of mine have expressed an interest in a pink gun (one 6, one 16), but the 6 year old DID insist on the pink earmuffs and "muddy girl" patterned safety glasses - my plain black and clear were "too boring".

Well, that was the purpose of my post....

As to original audience? Dunno. Seen a LOT of really low prices on stainless/pink stocked 10/22s, from several wholesalers/resellers - maybe someone was trying to do something for boobie cancer research or something.

I've actually been watching that gun for a couple of weeks. Yes, it's a great deal. I'm not really going to buy it now because the timing isn't right but a 10/22 Target is in my future. My nephew has a birch stick one that is the most accurate rifle ive ever shot. We had fun shooting pennies at about 40 yards with a cheap scope. Super fun gun. When I do buy one it will be one that looks like this and I'll deal with the pink stock. It's like buying a car. The color and stereo don't enhance the car's performance, but that's how most people select their cars. I'll buy a pink stock 10/22 stainless target model at a huge discount and figure out how to make it look acceptable later.

Pennies at 40 yards? Sounds fun. We put them up sideways at 50 yards

Just shot our monthly match today - 1/5 scale silhouettes at 50 to 125 yards. Got 38/40 (we shoot from a bench), put me in 3rd

10/22 is my next and quite possibly my last gun purchase. i want the LVT version.

well, if i can get some time off, i'm buying the Browning Buckmark Contour, THEN the 10/22..

that rounds out every gun i ever need in my arsenal. bonus would be some custom long range thing..but i dont "need" it.

My daughter wanted one at 7 and at now 15 years old, she would still like to have one. Since it was for all of us to use I got a non gender specific stock.
