laptop battery replacement question
 

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop model # L505-S5998 with a battery part # PA3534U-1BRS . The battery is shot only holds a charge for 5 minutes. It has served me well . But when I do an internet search I find " new " batteries anywhere from 20.00 to 100.00 ! Some are 4400 mAH while others are 5200 . So I'm thinking go with the 5200 mAH but at what price point ? Are these batteries like car batteries where there are tons of name brands but all made by 3-4 manufacturers ? Or are the cheaper batteries crap ?
So where have you purchased batteries at a good price point and it worked/lasted ?

I think I got my replacement at Batteries Plus

Lithium batteries can blow up. You get what you pay for. Get a good quality replacement

I tried a few of the cheap ones. They do not last. I now buy the brand the laptop came with.
