Anyone here play Battlefield 1 or 4?
 

I know there are a few veterans here, but wanted to see if there are any more?

I have a few them for my xbox and Xbox one.

I play bf4 on occasion. Haven't picked up a new console so still on the 360.

Big into BF1 (PC) right now. Incredible game. Sound effects and graphics are mind blowing.

bought BF1 for PS4....had played BF years ago on PC and enjoyed it.

alas FPS on consoles just suck ass. waste of money. really need a mouse/keyboard to enjoy it for me.

Im still big into BF4. I havnt gotten BF1 yet. Thought Id wait for a few updates. Plus BF4 is full of noobs now that its so cheap. Easy pickins.

Same here, PC gamer, after a long hiatus from it, and playing consoles. Actually right after playing BF1 on my bud's xbox one, I said, gotta have a loaded PC for this game, and bought one.

I go back to BF4 once every week, still a great game. So many weapons and soldier customization. Still my favorite.

I have both for Xbox one. I'm over them. I really hate the weapons in battlefield 1. I had fun sniping for a few weeks but just got sick of the game.

COD 4 remastered and Titanfall 2 is where it's at for me currently

Look I was getting to a point BF1 was being annoying. It has much more flaws on PC than consoles you would not believe. Weapon selection is weak. Once you hit rank 10 in a class the other weapons become mute. I play assault, and usually operations or conquest. I have a group of decent mature gamers, makes it 100x more fun.

Futuristic games give me anxiety. But i want to try Titanfall. Gonna look at pure pool, thanks

Not sure pure pule is available for PC. Didn't realize that was your platform

I'll likely give BF1 another try as I paid the early edition price of I think around $90 and only played it about a month before getting irritated. I would like to get closer to feeling I got my money's worth

Titanfall 2 is pretty tough. I get discouraged with it but it has its rewards.

We still do LAN parties with the original Battlefield 1942 and all its mods, from Civil War to modern day. We don't do WW1 very often, mostly SE Asia and Gulf War eras.

We do a lot of Wings over Europe as well, but that is a pure air combat sim.

I have looked at BF1 and thought about it, but the whole having to level up on stuff is a big turn off. And in the earlier BF games they really nerfed the aircraft so it took no skill to fly them to make all the tweener crybabies happy. Maybe BF1 is better.

BF1 is pretty amazing if you don't mind WWI era weapons.

Personally, I think shooting those old guns sucks. I like modern weapons like BF4

Unfortunately all the glitches in BF4 really turned me off from continuing to play it

Been playing PC FPS for a long time. I think it started with Doom.

I have BF1 but haven't played it much. Not many servers that run custom "realistic" settings. Can't stand the stupid spotting of an enemy and the even more ridiculous scope glint.

IMO the Half-Life mod Day of Defeat was the best. Can't hand hold an MG42 or .30 and be accurate like the EA Battlefield series.

flying is pretty easy on bf1 as well.

I agree.. the biggest downfall of the game is that they got the damage model all wrong. It should not take half a clip with a SMG to drop someone. Many times I've watched my grenade explode at someones feet, only to have them survive the blast, turn around and shoot me.

Luckily there are hardcore servers which makes everything more true to life. Under the server search selection, just type in "HC" and a few will come pop up.
