Rip Bill Paxton.

I though it would be appropriate to recognize a good old school actor, and fellow Texan. You will be missed!Yeup, rip.....

WTH? Far too young. I loved his portrayal of the jerk off older brother Chet in Weird Science.

Pulmonary embolus and sepsis are the big hitters in the post-op mortality world. Both are well respected and considered/addressed (anticoagulants and antibiotics) today. Aspiration, pneumonia, stroke and myocardial infarction are possibilities as well.

Liked his work. RIP.

Bummer. I've liked him in a ton of stuff, and for a long time it seemed like James Cameron wouldn't make a film without him (he's got a bit part in the first Terminator as one of the punks that confront Arnie when he arrives). One of my first PC games had an audio clip of him - when you lost, he said "Game over, man! Game over!" from Aliens.

He was the only actor that was killed by all 3, the Terminator, a Predator and an Alien.
RIP Bill.

He was always well liked by the crew and very amiable, just a regular guy. He started out in the biz doing what I do, art dept/set dressing on Roger Corman films.

RIP Bill, you were a good guy with a big heart.

That's the role I will remember him by. From all accounts he WAS NOT anything like that character.

Too bad. RIP. Sounds like he threw a clot after heart surgery and had a massive stroke.
