Quick Opinions Needed/ Heckler & Koch MP5SD .22 LR
LRhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1488930513.jpg
have a chance to grab on of these at what i think is a bargain, $300 i've been wanting a .22 for a long time. yes or no? |

If mean and nasty looks are what you want, go for it. If tack driving accuracy is you goal, a Ruger 10-22 with a bull barrel would be my choice.

Range buddy has one, it has feeding issues. May be the cheap ammo he insists on using (Thunderbolts) or not.
CDNN typically has 'em for $300 new on sale several times per month, just sign up for their email. They currently have spare mags at $30 each... Quote:
In my world, I have space for all of 'em and then some. :D FWIW current rimfire count is 1) Broken and missing parts Remington 121 2) Box stock 10/22 carbine 3) Tweaked out 10/22 4) Ruger Mk II stainless heavy barrel 5) Browning Buckmark 6) 22 conversion for FN-FAL Recently sold a CZ 455 Varmint... it couldn't keep up with the 10/22 build |
Is that the French SWAT team standard issue?
|
Hell to the yeah you should. Bet I can't buy that here
|
is this a trick question?
|
Tell me this is already in your possession...
|
Just my personal opinion, but a bad-ass looking military/commando-style carbine . . . in 22LR?
Seems like a poseur gun. One step up from an Airsoft. |

Check out the availabitity of full auto kits ;) But if you want accuracy look at an Anschutz or a Sako.

bought it. came with an official mall ninja membership card.
went to the range over lunch and blew through a couple hundred rounds. damn this thing is fun. accurate enough to hit a liter soda bottle at 100 yards. will report more later. |
