I bought the CD after watching his concert on You Tube. I am ready to call Mr. Bonamassa one of the best guitar players ever.

He's a bit too "busy" for me. Hard for me to appreciate such extreme guitar picking flurry.
Talented, no doubt there...just not my style.

You might be surprised, if you give this concert a listen. He's covering classic blues from 3 of the great blues musicians, so the songs are quite a bit different from his usual work. His rendition of Freddie King's "Going Down" is one of the best recordings, ever. He's got a killer band, too. Reese Wynans plays an incredible intro to the song, much better than what Leon Russell did. Anton Fig doesn't suck, either.

Keep an eye on Jade MacRae... she's worth watching. Closely.
