Often in the case of strippers and hookers they were raped and or molested as a kid and often repeatedly. One would think that the idea of sex would be abhorrent but actually they feel that sex is no big deal and actually can have sex very often but without much care. Its actually a coping mechanism. As if to say "I'm not gonna think this matters because if I do I'm gonna get really bummed out over the fact that my uncle used to rape me...so its no big deal..."

That is the attitude. Not saying teach was a vic when she was young, just say'n why sex can be really meaningless to some folks.

There are a lot of people jumping to conclusions without any facts. Kind of sad state the world has come to.

In most instances, it's a matter of power for one and then a matter of using sex to overcome the fear of closeness, for the other.
WRT power, the victim identifies with the power of the offender, not the offender or the act, but the power of the offender. This is then acted out later as an attempt regain one's own sense of personal power, their personal power that was stripped from them during the original violation.

WRT the fear of closeness, the victim will engage in sex as a way of being as close as possible to another w/o disclosing themselves. Sex becomes a substitute for true intimacy. Not so uncommon in the psych community as it's referred to as "Attachment Avoidant".
This is quite a prominent feature within the Borderline Personality Disorder structure...as they are known for engaging in impulsive and reckless behaviors such as casual unprotected sex with strangers.

Going into a particular ghost writing project several years ago (and my contract really forbids too much details or I could get sued and loose royalties - not that there is much) that the above statement is a psychologists statement and while I can see where it is an explanation, that interviews I did with a bunch of these women both strippers, hookers and non-adult women who had been molested (and no I didn't do any hookers!) all indicated what I found to be true. I didn't lead the question merely asked open ended questions and let them talk in a relaxed, comfortable environment. And the vast majority had trust issues that would put a cage fought pitbull to shame.

some do, some want to meet a 'nice guy' and settle down while others want to have professional jobs in marketing, sales and the like. Surprisingly there are more 'normal' girls into then you would think. Not all are TPT but most all do drugs and all were molested. Its actually sad. I can't go into those clubs anymore and not look at these women as pure sex objects. As corny as it may sound, after hearing many of their stories, I find these places very depressing because I know that these girls really don't want this life style. They happened upon it for a few reasons and it engulfed them.

"Stripper" is a symptom of a mindset. Hairdresser, massage therapist . . just variations on a theme for women in their early '20s.


An equivalent for men in their late '30s early '40s is when they all try to be real estate agents for a year or so and give up.

I bartended in topless bars for about 5 years. As a fellow employee things are different than as a customer, and being there when they come in is sweats and a T-shirt with no make-up, most are just ordinary girls. They usually have a lot of baggage. I also found it sad and depressing. Yeah, I love to see hot nearly naked women, but then getting to know them and their problems really sucked. Yeah, most end up doing drugs if they don't start out that way. Most don't really like what they are doing, but it's a vicious circle that they can't get out of because there are aspects of it that make them feel superficially, temporarily good. Then later, they feel bad and go back to feel good again. I'm really glad I didnt' spend more time in that environment, but it was educational.

THis seemed like an OK thread to bump after YT threw these two older (7-8 yo) videos at me.

One teacher getting double-teamed by a couple of football players. I believe in this case, the boys were at the age of legal consent, but the problem is that she was a teacher and they were students which is illegal.

In all the years I went to school, in 11 different schools, I never one had a teacher that was even the slightest bit attractive. I think my schools hired only ugly old ladies or men.

My company seems to reward this kind of behavior. Have a kid with someone who works for you and they reward both parties. They aren't a couple, but they keep getting transferred together from location to location and are ridiculously overpaid for their bad work/decisions.

I get the double-standard, I really do.

But when I was in high school, if the opportunity to be victimized in this way by a very attractive, young (and I suppose I should add, female) teacher had arisen ... well, victimize away.

In the real world of almost all teenage boys, though, I wouldn't have been a victim at all. I'd have been a hero.

Absolutely, I'd have been willing then, and would still be willing now, to be victimized by 23yo and 32yo attractive HS English teachers. I think there are two ways that this can impact people, one is to have a hard time with physical intimacy as many might expect, but the other way is for them to end up promiscuous. Sex is either power or maybe a way to feel loved or desired.
