SACHS or OEM volvo struts.
need to replace the struts on my 08 V70.
sachs struts are 100, oem Volvo are 200. each. I am really leaning towards the sachs for the price. need to order today or tomorrow.

Are the OEM ones Bilstein or something? Sachs is what they put on a lot of P cars.

Sachs/Boge are an OEM manufacturer for many many European car companies. Highly likely that unless your V70 has a sport suspension that Sachs manufactured the shocks currently on your car but have a Volvo sticker on them. If all you are wanting is an OE ride then go with Sachs. If looking for more/better then take a look at Bilstein.

What is so shocking and sad about having a Sachs strut.
It's OEM for BMW and other brands.

Not so much that it is a Sachs strut, those are fine, it is that Volvo charges you $100 to put a VOLVO sticker on it.
