The Toyota LC starts at $84K, I don't even want to know what the Lexus one is........

Amazingly, according to Edmunds, the Lexus GX 460 (the 4Runner equivalent) runs between $55,000 for the base and $65,000 fully loaded. T

he LX 570 (the real Land Cruiser equivalent) runs a mere $96k.

how long until this thread comes back to the surface less the X5 option?

onewhippedpuppy 04-03-2017 06:13 PM

One year tops. Unless he bought the extended warranty.

My wife's Lexus RX is 14 years old, closing in on 90k. I have (no BS) spent $600 in 14 years on unscheduled maintenance. It's a snore to drive, but holy hell are they well made.

Oh I completely agree. The X3 was in for some error related to the turn signals with 25,000 miles when he got the X5....

Oh well, not my problem. Would coulda shoulda

Q7, Cayenne, MDX or X5

We have had our 08 Cayenne GTS for 9 years now 101k trouble free miles. Have gone through 3 sets of tires, and the usual maintenance (usually do myself, time permitting) oil changes, brakes, and other diy items.

It's a joy to drive in sport mode and I would highly recommend it. I would even say the Cayenne is as reliable as my old Camry and that's why my wife hauls our 2 little ones in it daily.

We liked it so much we bought a 2012 a few years later and I ended up selling it in 2015 only because I needed a full size pickup (Toyota Tundra) to haul merchandise for our stores.

Is the 958 smaller inside than the 957? What about cargo capacity?

Saadi996tt 04-03-2017 10:47 PM

It's actually the opposite, the 958 looks smaller because of the new exterior design but actually has more room on the inside. Here are the specs from the net... I had to look it up the exact figures.

Cargo capacity 957 (GTS)
Rear Seat Up: 19.07 Cu. Ft.
Rear Seat Down: 62.51 Cu. Ft.

Cargo Capacity 958 (S)
Rear Seat Up: 23.66
Rear Seat Down: 62.86

If I only had two kids my wife would likely be driving a Cayenne or Panamera. The Cayenne back seat is fine for two but very cozy for three.
