Bulk Nutella?

Someone on a yum forum I'm on is looking to get a bulk buy of Nutella - he has more than a few children to maintain.

Any ideas on source and price, hopefully in Mexico?

Thanks!

I have used food service company for the brown paste. They have Nutella in the 55 gallon drum. Prolly can get it in the 275 gallon tote.

I have also used peanut butter. Really cheap stuff. But know the difference if you need creamy or crunchy.

I think if you eat a lot of Nutella, yes, you will get bulky.

Mmmm . . . chocolate hazelnut goodness. We stumbled onto it when the kids were little and soon the breakfast routine centered around toast with Nutella. Pretty quick that's all anyone in the house wanted to eat. I figured that with a name like Nutella and tasting like nuts and chocolate it must be nutritious, so of course it's good and tasty for the kids. Then I read the nutrition label and saw that it had pretty much no nutritional value whatsoever. We almost had a revolution on our hands when it went from a breakfast staple to a treat. Still love the stuff.

1 question........why? It's awful....

Nop. You cannot ban my Nutella. As an Italian, it is a dietary staple and quite necessary for my physical and mental well being.

I am sure I have never even tasted it. No desire to try it.

Nutella - oh yes- "chocolate crack!"

I consider the effects of kids eating Plumpy'nut, a wonderful nut based paste for the starving that provides nutrition and enables them to pack on weight quickly.

Nutella lacks the nutrition, it is Plumpy'Nut for the rich world

The best solution is to buy a lot when it goes on sale. I buy twenty one pound jars of peanut butter when it's half price.

My dog loves the stuff...

They have big like one gallon jars. Think you can find those on Amazon.

If you put it in the crankcase of a diesel you can extend the oil change intervals

MRM 03-30-2017 10:21 AM

The depreciation curve is so steep that you should really consider the used stuff. Not everyone has so much money that they can throw it around buying factory new peanut butter.
