I'd venture most have never tried it.

I'm getting ready to purchase a 'bout a half dozen carp at 12 bucks each. Know what Ima gonna do with 'em Cliff....throw them ugly bastids in my ponds. I'd rather try eating the pond grasses they'll consume instead :). Yep....you'd be correct in your venture...

I put two quick rounds of my 9mm into a big sucker today, I'm guessing 18-20 inches...still saw some movement, so a 3rd finished him off. REALLY pissed off two Canadian geese who had moved away from my upper pond's dam to the shallow end....I'd watched one lay an egg about 10' from where I shot from a few hours earlier. If you don't think two geese will aggressively approach a man with a gun and give him hell, you'd be wrong :).

Back in my miss-spent youth, we went shotgun fishing one day. We could see large small mouth bass under the boat but they wouldn’t bite any bait. My buddy cut above the brass on some medium shot 12 gauge shells to leave just threads of plastic & fired directly down at the fish. The theory was that a slug would travel further in water than shot. Good fun but no fish. :D

oh, i get it. public perception is huge. Chilean Seabass..i cant remember the real name..something like "ocean assfish" (okay, i'm exaggerating) some magic PR, and that fish is delicious. i remember seeing one in a picture and it didnt look yummy.

i just amazes me, people tell me what (fish) taste like all the time without ever tasting it. and carp have lots of bones? how do they know?

i'm trying to catch a uglyass delicious fish. the monkeyfaced eel. i heard it was like cheap lobster! i'll get over the slime and snakelike appearance.

carp? yea, not for everyone. it eats grass. hmmm what else is delicious and eats grass? :D

i'm more jealouse you have a damn pond!!:D
