Pretty epic car, too bad it's already sold out. As an aside, I am enjoying Top Gear UK again.

I'm very jealous. That car is on its own level of cool.

Me too. Last night's show was quite entertaining. Sabine Schmidt in an off road race was also fun. If they keep this up, I won't miss the old crew.

I have Amazon Prime so I watch the old crew too. Best of both worlds! In my opinion, you can't have too many good car shows.

Me too. Far better than last year. Matt is pretty funny and Harris is a beast driver.

However, I'm not sold on a $400k Ford. I think Harris has this right. Unless Ford can show me that the bits are not the same as they put on pickups and Mustangs then I would politely decline even if I had the money.

On anther point: my uncle, prior to his death, owned a Ford dealership in a small town of around 3,000 population. When the last GT40 came out, they got 2 for sale. One was through a lottery and the other was for being the best dealership in their size market. They ended up selling both over MSRP. One in particular was bought to a dude that insisted it not be started and only rolled off the carrier and rolled onto the next carrier.

Totally agree.

I really enjoy the new Top Gear. Way better without the annoying loudmouth guy from last year. The new TG is not quite as funny as the three masters, but it is very entertaining.

Light a match, sabine !!! (extra gear is funny)

I'm sure Ford is heartbroken, considering that every one of the 1,000 they will build is already sold.

That said, I prefer the lines of the now old/new GT...

Yea, Ford did a Ferrari move. Sell every single copy of a 400K+ car before production really gets rolling. Zero doubt, there are many people planning on flipping the car and never driving it.

Kinda like today's early 911 world, eh? Full of flippers and pimps. Actually, Ford went through a selection process that would hopefully eliminate flippers, although I'm sure some will slip through.

Yep. My local dealer wanted one to park in the showroom next to his 2005 GT (which he does take out on weekends--especially to local car events). Ford wouldn't grant him one because it was not "visible" enough.

This!

Super cool car but just a commodity at this point.

At least the CGT were driven on the street.
