Took the 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 year old Grandsons to the LA Zoo today

Just like I remember my grandfather taking me and my brother to the Staten Island Zoo back in the 60's. I still have pics somewhere I took with my Instamatic camera.

What was their favorite animal?

Giraffes hands down.

My daughter and her husband let us play with them while they visited from NYC, to go to the Coachella Musical festival for four days. Last year she bought me a nice Garmin GPS for the RV for watching them. It was also great. I'd actually pay her to let me have them for a few days. Moving next door to their Summer house in Eastern PA, next year, I hope.

Planning on moving there within a year or so. Split my time there (Spring/Fall) and Los Angeles (Winter/Summer).

Grandkids are the best kind of kids.

Made a wrong turn while on the way to Glendale and had to make a U turn at the LA Zoo entrance today. We may have crossed paths... :)
