"Fargo" on FX

I watched the premiere of this seasons "Fargo" on FX.
Wholly Cow! it's off to a good start.

Fantastic show. There are two seasons out. They each have their own storyline. Some similarities to the movie but not related.

It's pretty good, not exactly like the film but related in the types of stories. Joel and Ethan Coen are executive producers so it has their blessing and I assume influence.

I enjoyed the second season more than the first. It reminded me more of "No Country for Old Men" more than Fargo the film, however. My good friend plays Hanzee, the Native American badass in season two. He kills it.

Agree..... the first 2 seasons were great and this one looks very promising. All 3 seasons have featured great casting... great character actors in particular. As to comparing to the original Fargo movie ? same drab wintery conditions and same tone, and many of the characters aren't running much above 40 watts with more than a few eccentrics thrown in. and don't forget occasional bouts of sudden violence.
