3.0L VW Settlement
Wow..... did the 2.0L Diesel settlement class get screwed in relationship to the 3.0L Class?
|
Good question.
I have a gen II (uses adblue) Q7 I'll be curious to see if they can come up with an emissions compliant repair. If so - I don't feel like the settlement is that generous. Compensation looks to be around $7500 to $8500, in that scenario. Mine is a 2014. Considering that the vehicle has been an "orphan" since October 2015 and I might learn the fate this coming November - I'm not thinking that the settlement is overly generous. OTOH - if eligible for buyback, the numbers look much better. For a 2012 or older, seems pretty lucrative. Our situation is that we buy and hold for a long period (8-10 years). If I wanted to flip it in the last year or so, I would not be very happy. |
I don't know about the screwing, they gave us $28.5 on the buy back for our 2015 Golf with over 65k miles on it. We almost kept it
