New clothes for the Black Rifle............

While at the NRA exhibit, I ran across a company that makes wood (walnut) stocks and other furniture for the AR type rifles. Giving in to a desire to make my rifle just a bit different from the run of the mill AR, I bought a set. The set I ordered is still in the mail, but here are a couple of pictures of their work.





My rifle started life as an M16-A2 so it will look close to the first picture. Will post an actual picture when the bits arrive. The company's web site is at woodforar.com if you want to take a peek.

Or get your plastic stuff hydrographically printed/dipped.

Cool, but now you can't have a rail(s) with 8 gizmos hanging off it. And what's an AR without Gizmos?

That's like putting clear coated carbon fiber fenders on your Ford Model T.

and nowhere to go, today at least. Won't be long before we get a trip to the range! Installation was a breeze with all parts fitting perfectly! Note that the stock is cut for both left and right hand shooters.
