As far as cordless drills go, I haven't found anything better than the DeWalt 18V unit with a spare battery or two. I have used the same drill and batteries for 10 years now, that includes putting all the siding, and roof on our new 104'x60' pole barn, and many other construction projects. That thing with twist right out of your hand if you aren't holding tight.

I buy drill bits at Ace Hardware. They have a cobalt bit that is fantastic! I haven't bought a set of them yet but I replace bits that I break with these bits. I also have a small set of Irwin cobalt bits that I really like.

I always buy bits when I am in Switzerland. Their base product is a notch better.
Cutting fluid is cheaper than buying new bits all the time.. and it smells like root beer!

Looking forward to try those Norse bits.
Relton is a great Made in USA product as well based in CA . I use the 1" hole for going through 1/4 aluminum.
