Spa Classic 2017 in 100+ Photos

The 2017 edition of Spa Classic organised by Peter Auto took place from May 19 – May 21 this year on one of the most exciting racing circuits, the 20-turn, 4.35 mile (7km) Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. 2017 marked the seventh running of the event, which witnessed exceptional classic sports cars and sports prototypes that created an electric atmosphere despite the initial rainy and overcast conditions. New to 2017 was the addition of the Euro F2 class which included single-seater racing cars from the European Championship between 1967 and 1978.

Like every other racing weekend Spa Classic 2017 started off with practice and qualifying sessions on Friday and Saturday. The racing action proceeded, starting with the Trofeo Nastro Rosso, a category that includes pre-1966 Sports and GT racing cars of Italian makes. This included cars like the category-winning Ferrari 275 GTB/C, Bizzarrini 5300 GT, and the Maserati Tipo 61 “Birdcage”
