If it didn't come from your back yard and in a urban area (I'm assuming), I'd say it looks like bear scat.

JavaBrewer 05-19-2017 09:09 PM

Sorry man, didn't know it was your yard.

The only way to tell for sure is by taste. Report back.

No, no, no! You have to smoke it... but in a Meerschaum pipe!

I say it's all a load of BS.

Skunks will tear a place up looking for grubs. If your garden looks like a small tiller went through it, then maybe skunk.

Whatever became the poop had some fur. Not sure what you have for feline stuff around you, but the fur bits and stench seem to suggest a carnivore souvenir. If the area is fenced, I'd double the feline bet.

Looks like coon droppings..

widgeon13 05-20-2017 04:12 AM

Bear.

If it was skunk, you would not have to ask, you would know they had been around already. Raccoon, plenty of them around here.

Raccoon is smallest of the bears, so those guys are right too.

Most definitely raccoon crap. We have quite a few living in a big cypress tree in our yard. They leave their deposits under the tree and in our vegetable garden. The little bastards have also been crapping on our roof.

50 lbs of that won't fit in a 40 lb bag.
