Fidget Spinners, ya they are addicting...
Not sure i would drop over $20 for one, but I did pick one up at a conference last week and yes they are smoothing and addictive. Maybe I have ADHD?
Hey, anyone see where there are snakes that hunt in packs? |
The new pet rock.
Selling like crazy at my place of work... the adorable little tykes rip open the packaging and throw on the floor in a rabid frenzy to get to their new toy... I believe the 5 second attention span of the average child has now been reduced to 3 or maybe 2.5 second. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1495908207.jpg |

My kids each got one with some gift money from their uncle. I wont spend my own money...
|
I had to look them up to see what you guys were talking about.
Maybe I should just take a used bearing and spin it... Best Les |

He thought about it. And he thought about it some more. And thus the almighty Slinky. Never lose the child mind...ready to instantly play at a whim. |
I do my spinning on a bicycle outdoors.
|
We had those as kids Byron
|
I rather spin someone else'
s wheel |
Spinners, think we always just called them ho's.
|
I picked up my son's spinner, spun it a few times, and said "Meh" and put it back down.....now get off my lawn !
|
A guy in my fire house makes them in the shape of a maltese cross. Hell probably be able to retire soon, with the demand that he has for them. Firemen are stupid, we'll buy anything...

Used to mentor a high-school robotics team, spun bearings/gears/etc to relieve stress. Wish I thought of selling.....
|

What are they for?
Did never understand this hype AGAIN. What a crappy time we live in! |

Woah, I should have kept my mouth closed. Came home last night and my wife had bought the daughter a fidget spinner ...

This is from 1968 - The OP-YOP
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4RohYWHgGcc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> There is a family story about my sister seeing one of TV and the commercial said something like "You need one, NOW!". She badgered by parents until they bought her one. A short while after having it, she said something like "Why did I have to have it, NOW?" |
My son is buying old skateboards at garage sales. Cutting the spinner body out of the board and using the bearings to make them. He's all into the goofy things. Me? I don't get it.

Silly toys throughout the ages. Mom tossed my clickclacks, read they would start a fire if left in the sun. Remember Whee-Lo? The fidget spinner of the '60s.....? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UcNrAE9wnZU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
We made "home-made" ones as well. I remember having to "wind" them by swinging in a big loop.

Now, in the world of fidget spinners, the highest echelons of fidget spinners, are using glow in the dark. I'm pleased I'm not 12 and have to jump on this bandwagon. Yoyos were enough and even then I wasn't very good.
