my latest CL score......two post lift
So at the retirement house I am building a man cave and was in search of either a 2 or 4 post lift . I already have a Ammco scissor lift that I will be taking with me when we officially move but wanted a full sized lift also . I have been looking but not really that hard because I still don't have a building to put it in until yesterday .
But I look on CL every once in a while to see if there are any bargains and about 4 weeks ago is a guy selling two used two post lifts he's asking 1500.00 each . I thought not a bad price and bookmarked it and left it at that . Been going up every weekend to the retirement house where we have no internet yet so I checked the ad before leaving and he's sold the one and marked down the other to 1000.00 !!! I gave him a call and made the arrangements to meet him as he was only an hour away from our retirement house . I hooked up the car trailer and off I went . I found the place and walked up and met the guy selling the lift , nice guy and asks if I want to see it work I said sure . It works like a champ , no funny noises , no visible leaks and it has a new motor/pump installed two years ago . And the kicker is it is an Ammco brand !!! So I now have a matching set . We broke it down and we loaded it onto my trailer with his Bobcat . Made it home without scattering 1,000 pounds plus of American steel all over the highway ![]() One of my better CL scores and she will be a great addition to the new man cave being built .

7000lbs?
If it is it sounds like my lift, I also paid $1k for mine off of kijiji which is like CL. If it's the same as mine it's more like 1000lbs+ per post, in fact I'd say it's getting closer to 1.5 ton total. Aamco's are made in USA, way heavier than a chinese lift.

Masraum I have a few pics on my phone but only took pics of the cables and top rail before disassembly so I would remember how to put it back together.
Mark yes it is a 7,000 lb. lift and yes it's friggen heavy !!! The " foot " on each post is massive and the posts are quite thick also . I would possibly attempt lifting my dually with it but the cables may be the shortfall . What's the heaviest you have lifted with yours ? And is yours painted red ?
