Who woulda thunk??

We had a car corral/swap meet here in Moultrie, Ga. today. I went out after lunch to look around a bit and ran into the last person I expected to be there. I had found a cluster of fairly nice cars, sports cars, restorods, muscle cars, etc and suddenly realized that the window sheets referred to "South Beach Classics"! Sure enough, standing behind one of the cars was Ted Vernon, moustache and all! Went over and talked to him for a couple of minutes and he seemed to be reasonably nice guy. I knew he was not very tall, but I towered over him and I am only 6'-1" myself! No wonder his wife on the tv show looks so tall! Unfortunately, I did not get to see her!

Ok, I'll bite...who's Ted Vernon?

Ted Vernon

He has a large specialty car business near Miami, Florida and a tv show called "South Beach Classics". He buys and sells lots of cars, manyof them being quite intersting!

I've caught his show a couple of times. He has a new female "partner" this year, not the tall blond. No idea if either were wives. He sold a Ford F-650 to Shaq in one of the recent shows, Shaq apparently goes through a lot of cars and has bought several from him.
