ALMOST made it.
If the front end aero was a little better...
Looks like you drove the wheels off of it before the jump.
I was going so fast that they came off in midair!

I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid. I still think it's awesome.

There's a reason the name on the side of that bus isn't 'Jimmy the Fly'n Genius.'
I think you might have made it if you hadn't tried it with that snowmobile strapped to the hatch.
You sure showed that bus who's the boss.
Why did the paramedics drive up to and stop at the front of that bus?

Any idea of the year? Looked to be mid 1970's. |
Yes, it was about 1973 or so.
I think they needed a smoother transition onto the launch ramp. The front tires bounced off the surface of the ramp before they left the ramp, so the front of the bus started to drop early. But it's not exactly something you can do a practice run on. |
@ 43 sec...forgot the parking brake on the pickup
I just finished removing the front suspension on my 912. It took a few days, what with soaking rusty bolts in Kroil and all. This guy did it mere seconds. Of course the prep time took a little longer.
