Ferrari & Ducati Museum Photos - Picture heavy!
Pelicans!
![]() I recently took a trip to the "motherland." While I was there, I was able to tour the Ferrari Museum in Modena (at Enzo's very own home) and the museum at the Ferrari Factory in Maranello. I also was able to briefly stop into the Ducati Factory in Bologna. They actually give full tours of the factory while workers are assembling motorcycles, but due to time I was only able to take a quick pop into the museum. I wanted to share some photos with you from the museums. Hope you enjoy! Photos from inside the museum that is in a grass dome right next to Enzo Ferrari's house. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

There was some sort of "Fun Run" rally going on when I was at the factory. Lots of great vehicles:

![]() At Ducati.. this was what was out front. I got very excited about the line up of Audi's that aren't available in the U.S. I would own an RS6 Avant if I could! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Inside, you immediately see Jorge Lorenzo's MotoGP bike: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Luccia at Pelican Parts; 06-06-2017 at 12:27 PM.. |

That is one hell of a nice picture study!! A lot of work there, and fantastic pictures.
I could honestly see myself buying a GTO one day. There is no point in thinking through it. These are not rational cars, they are emotional cars. |

![]() I thought it was super interesting to see the change between motorcycle suits throughout the years. The black one on the right is the very first one designed. The blue one next to it is the next generation and the first to incorporate knee and elbow protection. It was also the time they incorporated a fully enclosed helmet with a windscreen. ![]() ![]() Casey Stoner's 2010 MotoGP bike with a carbon fiber frame! ![]() ![]() and that one time Ducati tried to produce a MotoGP street version bike... ![]() I hope you guys enjoyed the photos! I think Ducati was a consumer electronics giant before WWII, sort of like the Vinciguerra family in "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.". Love the cafe racers. Where's Enzo's house?

Luccia you should have said you were going to the motherland I could have given you some local knowledge of where the best places to eat in Maranello are.
Really interested to know what the description of the above car was, as far as I know Ferrari have never publicly confirmed why it was built

More info on it here: Ferrari F150 Laboratorio 2013 . Looks like it was developed for FXX-K development and as test bed. ![]() You'll have to give me some recommendations for next time! I was mostly in Modena while I was there spending time with family that lives there - eating with them and doing fun family stuff haha. Took a few hours to spend some time at the Ferrari Museums. Thank you, pictures are very useful as I need to make a 1 43 model of it for my collection.
Never heard it referred to as the name its been given so I'm guessing Ferrari still want to keep its past a secret

Was in the motor valley/carbon valley area for a business trip and had just enough time to stop at Museo Ferrari today. Unfortunately I didn't make it to see the F150 Laboratorio, I really wanted to get a close up of the plaque.
Not much to add, other than a picture of this big flat-12 (wrong marque, still cool): ![]()
