I've read several books on the atrocities in APAC by the Japanese, mostly stuff that was written by survivors as memoirs or collections of accounts by survivors. It's hard to imagine the things that were done to fellow human beings.

That was Ash's main desire for this project, so people could learn from the actual history, it was a very important project to him.

To be fair.. Rommel lost North Africa because he didn't get the logistics he needed...
It wasn't a great feat if strategy as much as it was a logistics thing, the Royal Navy blocaded Sea supply and the Egypt Supply line was much to long and difficult to sustain.
It was attrition that got them in the end.. the Brits did most of the dying, along with Italians and Germans.. But the Allies had enormous supply lines so when Patton showed up.. he could easily finish off the Africa Corps that was running out of tanks, food, aircover, and fuel..
