Ducati 400SS Super Sport Supersport

A rare one. Notice that the weight is not posted.

All the weight of a 900ss and none of the grunt. With the 900 so cheap these days I cannot see ththe point other than the novelty. I did have a 750ss for a while and that motor spun up nicely.

Agree with Yorkie. If $3K or less, a good buy just because of the rarity. Other than that, pass.

Just get a 900 and put the 400 decals on it.

Instant rarity and a sleeper too.

No more moto juxtaposing in this house.
Have a virgin '10 DRZ400E with 590 miles for sale...then that's it for moto toys.
5 is enough for me when I don't like to ride in the AZ summer.
.
BTW, I'll post my opinions and experience on the MHe one of these days.
Neat bike. Very nimble.
.
I just posted the 400SS for interest.

The smaller displacement Duc twins sound cooler than the 900s, so there is that.

This opinion based on experiences with a friends 650 pantah engined Cagiva Allazura...with Bub pipes probably the nastiest snarly duc I have heard.

One of these has popped up for sale around here. Interesting look, imo - kinda like the GPz550 with a v-twin.

Still for sale. Everyone wants to know if it's a Mach 1. maybe some parts of it are.
