Green screen pic for Shaun for a photo layout. This Bike finished 6th in the World Cup TT races at the IOM in 1930, my bike. 500 cc Rudge Whitworth Grand Prix Ulster.

He looked shook up in follow up interviews as well and did not get back on the bike later in the week. Then again, I only pick up 30% of what any of these guys say with their accents so he could have been totally coherent....

Wow, the man needs about 4 fingers of a single malt and some quiet time with whatever he recognizes as his higher power.

Yeah, what is that language that they speak over there?

I would love to cruise that closed circuit through the villages, and stone walled country roads as a scenic trip, not flat out at 190MPH. I don't have the nuts, or guts to race that circuit.

Find any Guy Martin interview on youtube and turn on closed captioning. :D

The official Honda IOMTT shift pattern that Guy was a little upset with,
you can clearly hear the false neutral.

I've done it in my Dad's BMW 3 series last time we went to the Manx GP and it really makes you appreciate the skill and bravery of the racers. If you have any interest in motorcycles (cruisers excepted) then the IOM should be on your bucket list. The whole experience from the ferry going over from Liverpool to the sea front packed with bikes is an amazing experience. The Manx GP is worth attending if you cannot get rooms for the TT as the racing is pretty eclectic and the crowds a little lighter. But you do need to book a hotel room a year in advance.

I've followed your postings on that gem. Amazing, oozes soul and character. As one ages, far prefer to see these vinti's still ticking. Big appreciation. :)

I grew up 25 miles from where he comes from and half of the time I have no clue what he is on about. But you can't help liking the bloke.
