What used to "grind my gears" is that one could pressure wash with devote diligence and still get light and dark streaks because of how you applied the wand.

No but you have to be wary of stopping it in one spot. You can get a ring. Happened to me a few times but I think next go round I'll be able to avoid it.

I have one of these, the problem I have with it is that the tube that connects to the P/W is short and I'm tall. It means I have to stoop the whole time I'm pressure washing. (It does do a pretty good job, though. Way better than just a jet from a wand....)

Several makes; hooks to the quick disconnect on your PW. About the diameter of an LP, a skirt all the way round, two PW jets are mounted on a spinning arm. The whole thing floats above the concrete like a hover craft floats.

Preconditioning is essential.
Wet down everything before getting to it.
(I'll post another thread on power washing and staining.)

We've had rather mild winters with more outside mildew recently in Michigan.
Never seen it before.
Everything around here gets "dirty" too quickly.
Use "Wet n forget" on everything inorganic using a container sprayer and dilution directions 1:5.
It seems to be a decent product for prevention.
It needs a week of dry heat followup afterward to work best.
It is mild for most plantings.

Oh yeah. I've got one of these and it does a number on my washed gravel surface concrete patio, sidewalk and driveway. Every now and then one of the jets will get clogged and you'll have to take it off and clear the clog. If it's not floating like a hovercraft then the wand isn't spinning, so sometimes you have to hand prop it to start the spinning motion. It's a tool well worth the price. 2 thumbs up from me.

I have the Black and Decker model of the above... does a great job of cleaning heavily mildewed concrete driveways. No streaks and you can cover a lot of area in a hurry. only complaint (as herr oberst mentioned) is having to stoop over as the pressure washer wand is a bit short for taller persons.

Definitely worth the price of admission....

I liked my sidewalk one so much, I found a smaller diameter one that just fits between the ribs on my metal roof. Cuts cleaning time around 60%.

I use one of these on my Simpson Water Blaster.

Works very well.
