Normally a ho-hum kinda day, but my wife found something I really like this year!

So much copyright infringement! I'm going to ask her to get me another before the site gets shut down.
Happy father's day to all parental Pelicans! SmileWavy

Took the FIL's cars for a spin with the kiddos. A great FD tradition!

Father's Day this year was also Graduation Day for the class of 2017 at Stanford. My daughter treated me to a nice breakfast in Palo Alto and later in the day, took home her MSME. Great day for all of us!

Congrats to your daughter...and you.
Where was breakfast in PA? Dinah's Poolside Restaurant?...Hobee's?...Stanford Barn?...Palo Alto Creamery?.....?
My old stomping grounds...Menlo Park, Mt. View......

I bought myself a Father's Day present in the form of a nice teak deck set. My sons helped me assemble it. I sent many silent prayers to my Dad asking his forgiveness for all the times I helped him complete projects around the farm. But I wouldn't trade the Memory for anything and we did actually get it together in the end. Hope my dad felt the same way, but I'm sure my "help" shortened his life span by raising his blood pressure forty points.

Had a great relaxing Father's Day. Wife went for a bike ride with me, played with the kids, had Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch, bacon and hash browns for breakfast....overall just a nice relaxing do whatever I want day.

I spent the day at the ball park with my kids watching the Rockies play.

The Giants had a good top of the 9th, so we had to break out the rally hats.

Which worked awesome, walk off home run by Arenado to complete his cycle in the bottom of the 9th.

Was great day.

Reminds me the week leading up to Father's Day we were in Cooperstown for week long 12u tourney at Cooperstown dreams park. Kiddo hit a walk off to win our first single elimination game.

Thanks, Don. We tried to go to Main & Elm which was closed for Father's Day so plan b was Cafe Borrone on El Camino Real. Food was good, company priceless. We went a little long at breakfast and ended up with sub-optimal parking. The walk from Wilbur Hall to Maples Pavilion in 96 degree heat was not fun but at least the ceremony was indoors.

Now, my question for her that she still hasn't answered was: Do you want to do good or do well? Hopefully she'll strike a balance, but honestly with that education, she's got options.

My son brought me home a famous troy's breakfast burrito bomb, good way to start the day.

my son got me a cool vintage crystal Dunhill cigar ashtray. Daughter got me tickets to the Vintage races this weekend at Mid Ohio. Life is good.

Cafe Borrone, next to Kepler's book store, near the train station...been there many times.
European-style cafe...lots of organic & locally sourced ingredients.
I loved their custard...but I didn't love what I had to do to get rid of it. :)
Great choice.
Underground parking, too.
.
Good father with a good daughter...Congratulations again.
