Pirates of the Caribbean

Don't see it!

What a horrible and hopefully last movie of the franchise. No story, no chemistry, Depp phones it in with an AT&T connection in the middle of Nevada, it was hardly worth a Netflix rental let alone seeing it in a theatre. Javier Bardem was the only thing that would keep you from walking out.

Agreed.

Meh.

Pretty much since the 2nd installment of the franchise Barbosa has been the better / more interesting character.

Worked on all five, the first one was great, the second one was very OK and they all sucked after that.

Kind of like the later versions of the Transformers series, way too much CG action that I can't keep up with.

My son likes the series (he is 9) and wanted to see this yesterday.

I could have waited until it hit Netflix but he enjoyed it and we had a great fathers day outing.

There were some interesting and funny parts but they were few and far between.
