Interesting....I'm not a big drinker anyway but love the idea of a unique blend they developed for their own enjoyment - will have to try some.
Thanks, Herr Oberst! Prost!

Whether you like his politics or not, George is one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. I've known him since he was a 'nobody" on ER and watched him shoot to fame. Still the same down to Earth guy. Good for him!

I really recommend the tequila...been drinking the blanco and reposado for close to two years now. I don't have a well developed palate and can't taste all the flavors in tasting notes for most things like wine, coffee, etc., but I can really taste the difference in their tequila over others. Not happy about the sale...could possibly mean they'll mess with product, especially since they overpaid for the brand. If sales slump, probably first thing they'll do. Ugh.

That said, I have always enjoyed most of Clooney's work...in particular one that stands out "The Descendants" - just outstanding on so many levels.Quote:

I'm always ready to try a new (to me) Tequila that has good reviews
My go to has been Don Julio for a long time now so it will take a mighty swing to make me change.

I like George. Don't care (or know about) about his politics- that's his business. The latest Nespresso commercial cracks me up, with that guy calling him up sipping his coffee.

I don't have any problem separating a performer's politics from their performance. When they have a problem with it, I lose interest in them, whether I agree with them or not.

"Hail Cesar" totally sucked. I really liked Ocean's Eleven and Thirteen.
The only way I might try the Tequila would be on a trip out of town with friends or something like that. |

"Out of Sight" was my favorite, though he's terrific in everything. "Burn After Reading", the most underrated Coen Bros. film, would be my other favorite.
And yes, he's the nicest guy in town.

If we are devolving into a Clooney-love-fest, I would toss out Michael Clayton as something worth watching. I did not mind The American either, but that may well have to do with the stupendously beautiful women in it (Violante Placido and Irina Bjorklund).
