Ducati parts?

I know there are several 900SS owners here. I recently acquired a 1996 model and discovering a lack of parts sources. Even the local Duc dealer has to order from Italy. Where do you guys buy parts?

Thanks,

Some resources I've recently used are Dave Roosevelt at Seattle Used Bikes. I believe he used to own the Ducati dealership there. He helped me with Keihin carb parts and advice.

Seattle Used Bikes - SeattleUsedBikes - Service for Life

He sent me a couple of links for parts guys, mostly used I'm assuming

www.ducpower.com
https://www.facebook.com/UsedDucatiParts/

I recently connected with the guy at ducpower.com and bought a used airbox from him. Great to deal with.

For electrical issues, these guys have been great to deal with and they made up a regulator/rectifier that is on its way to me now

Pandoras Ducati Parts...ask for Jeremiah...parts manager.
Last month he gave me 10% off the Ducati price on a new part for my 2000 MH900e.

Former owner of BCM Ducati (New Hampshire) has a pretty good stockpile. He generally sells on ebay (user id "hailwood"). Depending on what you need he may have it.

Will be flushing brake/clutch fluid and rubber bladders are tired. Ordered from BMW/Duc dealer in Marietta (my K13S is in for warranty work). They ordered from Italy, which made me wonder if there are better sources. Mail order is much easier due to my location.

Who bought BCM?...or did they just close down?
Wasn't that Bruce and Leslie up there?
Been outa the loop since I sold my 996S.

Leslie bought from Bruce. He eventually closed up shop. Was unhappy with how Ducati was treating its dealers and also unhappy living in New Hampshire. He runs a small shop now in Stockton NJ, just repairs, but he's got a pretty sizeable cache of parts as he held on to all the parts inventory from BCM. If you need something rare like an ECU for your 916SPS Leslie could be your guy or he probably knows where to get one.

Not much dealings with either fellow...sent my ECU up there for a flash and based on their suggestions I unplugged one of the dual injectors on each cylinder and it ran much better.
Thanks for the info.

I'd throw Gotham Cycles in the mix.
www.gothamcycles.com

They typically have a large/revolving inventory of used parts as well.

Also, if something can be replaced with a quality aftermarket part, or even identical OEM replacements, that is often the quicker and cheaper solution. Like off-the-shelf Brembo parts vs. Ducati branded/sourced Brembo pieces, etc.

jwasbury, we've probably crossed paths at some point. I used to head up to New Hamster all the time for service at BCM or trackdays and still have a hand in running DESMO.

Possibly. Tis a small world. I was racing my 900 Monster at NH speedway/Loudon back in 2000-2001 and did trackdaze with BCMs crew. Was living in VT at that time.
