I'm giving away tons of free Garage tools and Schit
Moving, my wrenching days are over.
I have a garage full of tools, and crap which I need to get rid of. Its not worth it for me to sell on ebay or craigslist, and I won't haul it to the local swap meet. If you live within driving distance of Santa Clarita, CA and want to stop by on a weekend and rummage through my Schit, let me know. I'd rather give it away to Pelicans than throw it in the trash. If you pick up some stuff its, free, but a six pack of beer or a bottle of scotch would also be appreciated, totally at your discretion. A whole lot more than shown in these few pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I wish I were closer!
I would love to have those lovely old micrometers if you could find a way to drop them in the mail! I would of course pay for postage.... Very nice of you to offer those up and no biggie if you would like someone local to grab the mics... Cheers!

Never mind the tools, what's next on the Hugh itin? Full time on the road? Going rogue?

Hugh,
Good luck in the next chapter of your life. One well-lived in my opinion. 'Charmed' does not apply to you unless charmed means mindful decision-making. Being a grampa is the best part of life. |

Damn Hugh. Very generous. Very generous. The table saw and some of the hand tools look tasty. We'll grab a bottle of scotch and head over on Sunday. Would that work for you? We can PM for details.

That would be so cool.
Will pm an email address and figure out how to make it work. That big RV coming to Canada soon?

billybek, a little surface corrosion on the bodies, but they all work well, and no corrosion on the measuring surfaces. they are all true and accurate.

Maybe, I'm retiring in the next 9-12 months and splitting my time between Los Angeles and Eastern Pennsylvania and taking the big a$$ RV to PA to explore the eastern seaboard, so you never know. Isn't Calgary sort of in the middle of Canada? I should know, my parents were from Vancouver Island.

Cowtown is on the eastern edge of the mountains straight north of Montana.
Banff and Lake Louise is only a short ( in Canadian terms ) drive away.

Jim, one guy from my wife's work expressed interest in the drill press, but maybe not, I'll keep you posted. Otherwise its yours, it's old, but works just fine. The stand is an old wooden one full of drill bits and such in the drawers. I'll let you know in a few days.

Hugh, ask him if he wants a cool new fangled Craftsman with Lazer beams! I will give him my current one. I like the old school firehazard that you have

Very generous of you Hugh. But be careful. Murphy's law applies with those spanners, you'll need them the very next day if you give them away.

Billybek wants the Starrett mics. I'll send you the other ones and dial gauges if you want to pay shipping.

Hugh, I think I have pretty much everything I see in the pics. But I see you have an old, rusty motorcycle. I could use one of those.
